Dan started racing quads in 1989 and has never looked back. Before going on the GNCC circuit, he raced in the ATVA District 14 (Michigan) and won 8 titles — “at least one in every class they’ve ever had.”

On riding a KYMCO:
“It has 24 races on it and could probably go another 24 with nothing more than standard maintenance. I beat it up all year and didn’t have a single DNF.”

2007 Season Highlights:
Dan rode his KYMCO Mongoose 300 to #3 overall in the GNCC Amateur Sport class
(12 out of 13 Top 10’s)

Dan would have finished even higher, but he missed the Sport class race in Round 3 at Steele Creek in North Carolina. His son, Tyler was racing that day, too — unfortunately he crashed and Dan had to take him to the local hospital (where he was treated and released).
